This page presents a brief explanation for every word used on the map.

Center of the Map

Service

The offering actor defined as the focus.

Service path

The path line connecting the service characteristics terms.

Service beneficiary

The benefited actor defined as the focus.

Opportunity

A possible service delivery that has not yet been developed.

Left side of the Map

Intangibility

Provided without necessarily having a physical evidence.

Separable

Performed without having the beneficiaries in the same physical space.

Inseparable

Performed only having the beneficiaries in the same physical space.

Simultaneous

It can only exist if the beneficiaries exist or occur at the same time frame.

Not Simultaneous

It can exist without the beneficiaries being or occurring at the same time frame.

Right side of the Map

Tangibility

Provided through a physical evidence.

Movable

It not change when the physical position changes.

Immovable

It changes when the physical position changes.

Dependent

Provided when combined with other tangible artifacts.

Independent 

Provided almost independently of other tangible artifacts.

Heterogeneity

It changes in regard to different beneficiaries.

Homogeneity

It does not change in regard to different beneficiaries.

Bottom of the Map

Perishable 

It can only be performed during a determinate and short period of time.

Non perishable

It can be performed for an indefinite amount of time.
